My wife - Lucia and I have had the privilege to have Peter Hogg assist us with the process of organizing Respite Care for of our elderly mothers. Peter's extraordinary efforts put him in the top echelon of service providers I have ever worked within any industry. Peter's knowledge, expertise, empathy and perseverance are beyond measure.
The journey for one of our elderly mothers into respite care began with several falls at home during the 3rd April 2019 which found her admitted to a Public Emergency Department, where she fell one more time. Without too much detail - our family then transferred her to a Private Hospital on the 10th April 2019. Further, with assistance from hospital staff at this Private Hospital the family had our family member transferred to another Private Hospital close to our residence for rehabilitation. This also instigated a review of her medications in consultation with her Cardiologist -including her Pacemaker Specialist during her time in rehabilitation.
The family reached out to Peter Hogg as he has been a professional, we met over 30 years ago, which also grew into a mutual relationship over the decades, and with his knowledge and expertise in the Aged Care Area we found a truly empathetic, most knowledgeable professional in Peter Hogg from Platinum Retirement Solutions.
We can state unequivocally that without Peter Hogg's guidance and sharing of information via his generous knowledge of Federal and State processes, policies and legislation we would not have been able to seek suitable respite care for our family member whilst in Private Hospital for rehabilitation.
Peter Hogg also visited our family member during her time in rehabilitation, meeting with the family, and with his re-assuring manner guided us to secure 21 days respite care being the culmination of numerous emails, phone calls, inspecting Respite Facilities, and finally the acceptance of our family member into respite at Aurrum Aged Care Facility at Erina entering on the 10 May 2019.
Our family member's respite care would not have been possible Peter Hogg's guidance, knowledge and understanding of the Aged Care Industry, including Federal and State requirements - a huge task in itself. Our family member decided to leave respite of her own volition on 30 May 2019 to return to her home.
