During 2013 the decision was made to downsize from our Rural Property in Western Australia and move to New South Wales to be closer to our family and grandchildren.

During 2013 the decision was made to downsize from our Rural Property in Western Australia and move to New South Wales to be closer to our family and grandchildren. We researched numerous Villages in various areas of NSW, but having lived in WA for 47years and only really spent time in Wagga Wagga or Brisbane, we came to the conclusion that we needed help.

Platinum Retirement Solutions were sourced via a Builder from one the Villages we had spoken to. Peter and Janette Hogg, Proprietors Platinum Retirement Solutions were engaged at the end of 2013 and between phone calls, emails, spreadsheets we fixed a date in April 2014 to meet in Gosford, NSW and visit the relevant Villages on our short list.

Throughout this process Peter stayed in constant touch, explained or answered the many questions we had in a Business Like manner, but in plain English, so that we understood the vagaries of moving into a Retirement Village.

We are now reasonably settled in our chosen Retirement Village in NSW, and Peter continues to stay in touch, even though the Business side is finished, he and his wife Janette will remain our friends and if necessary will help if there is a problem.
